Broken Justice System
Besides the total and gross mis-carriage of justice as far as Troy Davis is concerned, the justice system is broken.
Here is the case of which I speak. After the first ‘snip.’
Alan Levine, a civil rights lawyer representing Post A Posr, a protester at the 2004 event, told the Guardian that he filed an action against Bologna and another officer, Tulio Camejo, in 2007. The case, filed at the New York Southern District Court, is expected to be heard next year.
Expected to be heard next year? That is five years of justice delayed. And if the police officer is found guilty, that is five years he will be able to have had the ability to harass others.
The courts, like our bridges and highways, are broke.
