Turnout
Anecdotal? Yes.
But at the polling place where I vote, kind of semi-rural in western Ohio, the turnout appears to be as heavy as for a presidential election. Maybe heavier. I drove by the polling place mid morning and there were a lot of cars there. I voted at 1230 and there were a lot of cars and people present and drove by again at 2:45 and still a lot of cars.
That is good. Democracy is not a spectator sport. It is participatory ! !
