Newtown, CT
I grew up in Trumbull, CT, about 15 – 20 miles south east of Sandy Hook.
First, I can not imagine what would cause a 20 year old to go into an elementary school and shoot 5 year olds. It is beyond my ability to conceive of what events would precipitate such behavior.
Second, the grief of the loved ones struck down is beyond my ability to imagine.
Third, this can be a seminal event that forever changes our country.
