Drones

and the killing of American citizens.  Most people understand the rationale for the killing of Anwar Al-Awlaki by a drone in Yemen in 2011.  They may not agree 100% but they figure it is better than losing some members of the Marines or Seals.

And the administration that in every case of a targeted killing by a drone ensures that  a lot of oversight goes into the decision making.

That is not what concerns me.  Not at all.  No.

What concerns me is if we were to get a president with absolutely no scruples, say some one similar to Richard Nixon, who would be willing to kill American citizens on American soil just because they vehemently disagreed with the president.

The precedent that we are setting today, for rationale that I feel are questionable, could be used in the future in ways that are not even being considered today.

That scares me.

The Governor of New Jersey, Chris Christie, is somewhat over weight.  Here is part of his response to a comment by a Republican doctor who was Bill Clinton’s physician while Mr. Clinton was in the White House.

“This is just another hack who wants five minutes on TV,” Christie said. “And it’s completely irresponsible, completely irresponsible … and people who have a medical license, who have the privilege of having a medical license, should in my view conduct themselves more responsibly than that. If she wants to get on a plane and come here to New Jersey and asks me if she wants to examine me and review my medical history, I’ll have a conversation with her about that. Until that time she should shut up.”

Well this gives us two reasons why Governor Christie will never be an occupant of the White House.  First, is his impetuous response.  This MD is not a hack.

The second reason is that the voters in the United States will not elect a person President who appears to be morbidly obese.  If a person cannot control their diet  .  .  .
