I am a retired Senior Chief Petty Officer, U.S. Navy. I am a New Deal type Liberal who believes in a social contract between all citizens and that we need to help the least of us.

I have been married to Mrs. Chief for 48 years and we live with 3 dogs and 4 cats in western Ohio.

I thoroughly enjoy the pop music of the 60s and the 70s and do not believe John Cusack ever made a bad movie.
