of person in the U.S. Senate.   From Politico.com comes this piece.  Kathy, my co-blogger is 100% right on the seating of Burris.  Only the U.S. Supreme Court should seat him, if it has to come to that.

The most disturbing part of the Politico story is near the end (my ems)

“What I took away was that [Burris] wasn’t going to do anything to seem soft on crime,” Kenney said. “He didn’t have the guts.”

Our country does not need a Senator who will cave in to avoid losing votes.
