More “Disappointment”

From Democracy Now on Thursday 10 Jun interview with Kathy Kelly of Voices for Creative Non-Violence:

Amy Goodman:  How do Pakistanis and people in Afghanistan view President Obama versus President Bush?

Kathy Kelly:  Tremendous disappointment.  I think in Afghanistan people don’t want their invaders to be dictating the future in collusion with warlords agents [unintelligible]  But I think there was some home that President Obama would initiate a readiness to  negotiate, to look for peaceful settlements and not to continue to send more and more armed soldiers into their midst.

The disappointment is spreading.  The good thing about this is that the Afghans cannot vote in U.S. elections.  At least it is good for Obama.
