Letter to Senator Brown

This went out is the most recent USPS posting:

The Honorable Sherrod Brown
713 Hart Senate Office Building
Washington, D. C.  20510

Dear Senator:

Regarding the presence of United States troops in Afghanistan, I have two related questions.  First, how did the deaths of fifty-nine American servicemen in June, last month, make the United States safer?

Second, how is spending $100 billion a year on Afghanistan making the United States safer?

Unrelated to the first two questions, I also wonder how President Obama can appoint a commanding general, such as General Petraeus, who is not eligible to wear the Combat Infantryman’s Badge (CIB)?

Respectfully,
