Full Employment

Let the infrastructure go to hell in a handbasket.

We don’t need any taxes.  Period.  Let the roads get full of pot holes.  Cars & trucks will break far more often creating a need for more ‘auto mechanic/car fix-it shops.’

Let the bridges go to hell.  Just close them down before they collapse into the river.  Then people can use ferry boats to cross the Mississippi River, the Red River, The Great Miami River, the Ohio River, the Monongahela, the Housatonic, the North Platte, the Illinois and so on for the 2500 or so other rivers/bridges-over-rivers in the country.  Just imagine how many jobs THAT would create.  Ferry boat builders, ferry boat transporters, ferry boat operators, ferry boat crews.  We would also need people to build the terminals at each side of the river.

Now instead of paying taxes, we’d be paying to have the ferry boat transport our car from one side of the river to the other side.  Not as efficient, I’ll agree.  But look at it this way – we’ve driven a wooden stake in the heart of that old bug-a-boo, TAXES.

Yup, we’ve lowered taxes.  Who really cares if the commute to work jumps from 45 min to two and a half hours?  No body, because we’ve lowered taxes.
