Think About This

Glenn Greenwald has an excellent post regarding President Obama’s approach to the electorate and his upcoming re-election campaign.

Here is the short version of, the Ol’ Chief’s take on, Politician Obama’s re-election strategy:

President Obama is positioning himself to be just a wee-bit to the left of the Tea Party/Most-Likely-Candidate.  In other words, POTUS wants to appeal to traditional Republicans, all the moderate swing-voters and the left leaning progressives in the country.  His calculus must be that given a radical Social Security privatizing, Medicare vouchering, union busting RepubliKKKan, he will get all the voters to the left of that position.

So, how’d that work out last November?
