Apparently Size Does Not Matter

I heard on Keith Olbermann last night that Zucotti Park is about 3/5ths of an acre.  I had no idea.

But just to give you some perspective how small that park is I will explain.

An acre is unit of measure that, if it were a square, would measure 212.5 feet on each side.  But as most acres tend not to be square, an acre really is a piece of the earth that is 45,156.25 square feet.

Three-fifths of that is 27,094 or a piece of ground that is 150’ X 181’

Not really all that big – and the attention of the world or at least the United States is focused on that piece of ground.
