New ideas are always suspected, and usually opposed, without any other reason but because they are not already common.
I am more comfortable with ambiguity than anyone I know. I suppose having spent virtually my whole working life on the bleeding edge of new technology and having had more luck than skill in keeping it running, ambiguity is my middle name.
