An Idea to Consider


From Linda Ellerbee’s book Take Big Bites is this thought:

I’ve come to believe that if we can’t be other people, we can become better people.  Crushed dreams, broken promises, lost loves, and unhappy endings needn’t leave us hard.  They can leave us human.  Human is always better.

For me, context is not necessary.  We all have gross disappointments in the course of out time on earth.  It is much better to not be bitter.  No good comes from carrying hurt and hate around.  It is just baggage that will drag you down.
