First, a couple of weeks ago, it was presidential wannabe Mitt Romney claiming that Obama and his administration was apologizing for the video that preceded the death of the ambassador to Libya.
But in the hours after the death of the first U.S. ambassador killed in decades, Mitt Romney — panicked as his poll numbers have slipped — punched hard against the president, unleashing an unwise, inaccurate and unpresidential attack on the Obama administration.
This was a classic case of shooting from the hip, with out aiming, in an attempt to score political points over the death of an American official.
Now, the right-wing-whackos are at it again.
“There are strong preliminary indications that the death of United States Border Patrol Agent Nicholas J. Ivie, 30, and the injury to a second agent was the result of an accidental shooting incident involving only the agents,” Special Agent James Turgai said in a statement.
However, waiting a day or two was not an option for the right-wing-whackos
Ivie’s death was soon cited by Republican lawmakers; Arizona Governor Jan Brewer (R) said it was an example of lax border security, while Sen. Charles Grassley (R-IA) blamed it on the failed “Fast and Furious” gun operation carried out by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tax and Firearms.
Unfortunately, United States Border Patrol Agent Nicholas J. Ivie, 30, is dead.
