April 26, 1942 – The Reichstag grants Hitler full authority in executive, legislative, and judicial matters.

April 26, 1945 – May 3, 1945 – Survivors of the concentration camp at Sutthof, Poland, are evacuated by sea to Lubeck, Germany, a journey of more than 300 miles.  Hundreds perish during the seven day voyage.
